Earrings: Slice of Blue Lapis Lazuli
Silver bar earrings with a gentle arc, wire wrapped with raw, unpolished lapis lazuli beads from Afghanistan
If you love subtle statement earrings, this slim bar of blue lapis lazuli is just for you! A bar of heavy silver wire is cut, slightly bent, lightly hammered for texture, then carefully wrapped with lapis lazuli beads. What makes this special are the beads, themselves–sourced from an ancient mine in Afghanistan, hand cut, hand drilled, and left unpolished; these are the sorts of stones that were used in ancient Egyptian jewelry.
Other materials: sterling silver plated German wire (copper core), silver ear wires
Length: the bar, with curve, hangs at about three inches (note: if you would like this made a bit shorter, just let me know–I have a small supply of these lapis lazuli beads and the two inch version of this style still keeps a nice curve!)
Shipping is free to a domestic U.S. address; for international or special shipping needs, see here.
