Golden Cheyne Beaded Earrings
Intricate and delicate beaded earrings, in warm tones of golden toffee and pumpkin; focal bead drops are molded Czech glass beauties
A stunning pair of earrings that have been woven with glass seed beads and crystals in an age old technique called netting.. This craft dates back to Egyptian days, and the weaving creates a beautiful fabric of beads that has a silky drape.
The colors are transitional late summer into fall; the mood is warm and earthy, like the leaves of the oak tree that provides the name. “Cheyne” is an old Scottish surname that means oak tree in Gaelic; the warm nut brown tones in this pair of earrings made me think of walking through fallen oak leaves as a child, and gathering acorns in my pockets.
