Bell Flower and Copper Earrings (long)
Light and delicate earrings, from shapely copper tubing and glass bell flowers in a crisp shade of citron green.
This pretty pair of earrings was inspired by nature both in color and form. One of my favorite plants in the garden are the autumn sedums, which come into their own in late summer to early fall. The colors of one shrub in particular — a sort of plum/copper with citron pale green–never fail to delight the eye! I made two pairs of earrings in this minimalist, vine-like style–a long pair and a shorter pair. This listing is for the longer pair. (to see the shorter pair, click here )
The center of each “blossom” is a fiery orange swarovski crystal, so there is just the right amount of sparkle, like a little flicker of flame as you move. These are very lightweight, as the copper tubing is thin and light. I love how it arcs and moves gracefully, just like a flowering stem in a breeze.
